The supporters of Weston Super Mare booed when Neasden AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Félix Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Weston Super Mare's zone, Carmelo Berrueta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Orellana came out of the goal and Carmelo Berrueta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Angel Quijada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weston Super Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Quijada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Villacorta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Neasden AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Medina to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Camilo Galdamez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emerson Villacorta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Amilcar Bentos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weston Super Mare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neasden AFC the free kick. In the 30th minute, Amilcar Bentos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neasden AFC's Benji Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benji Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Elias Orellana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benji Castro made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Humberto Orobio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neasden AFC and the Weston Super Mare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Félix Pinho struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Emerson Villacorta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weston Super Mare. Carmelo Berrueta scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Orellana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Orellana came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Neasden AFC's Benji Castro. But to his dismay, Benji Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Emerson Villacorta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Quijada in the 82nd minute. Emerson Villacorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félix Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Angel Quijada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Neasden AFC defense, Angel Quijada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Villacorta. The Neasden AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Villacorta should have stopped the shot. Neasden AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
