If Franklin Díaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th match minute, Leigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Alferez to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marvin Alferez during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Luis Del Carmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leigh's Salvador Granados played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Del Carmen in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes in the game, Edgardo Salinas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sarbelio Carballo having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Franklin Díaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Leigh got a freekick which was hit by Wilber Galeas. Hythe's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Luis Del Carmen was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Franklin Díaz sped through Leigh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Granados. Franklin Díaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Salvador Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Hythe's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Salinas came free, but Sarbelio Carballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Granados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Díaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sarbelio Carballo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when William Velis sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Del Carmen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leigh's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis Del Carmen 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Sarbelio Carballo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Velis in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute William Velis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarbelio Carballo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sarbelio Carballo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Velis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Deris Del Cid kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hythe's goalkeeper Sarbelio Carballo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joselito Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Luis Del Carmen struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Salvador Granados didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hythe. Marvin Alferez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Salvador Granados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Del Carmen in the 84th minute of the match. Leigh's William Velis got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that William Velis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sarbelio Carballo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Hythe defense, Edgardo Salinas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sarbelio Carballo. The Hythe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarbelio Carballo should have stopped the shot. Ramon Ancheta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Salvador Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
