Odir Zapata who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Nicolás Díaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 6th match minute, Mevagissey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Erazo to maneuver through the defense. Benjamín Barraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Díaz having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, NO MERCY's Odir Zapata made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolás Díaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Odir Zapata struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nicolás Díaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NO MERCY. Mevagissey's Nicolás Díaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mevagissey from getting a goal against them. When Benjamín Barraza got free in front of the goal in the 41st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Nicolás Díaz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luis Hernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nicolás Díaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Menjivar to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Odir Zapata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, NO MERCY's Benjamín Barraza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolás Díaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Erazo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mevagissey's Isaac Erazo got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamín Barraza in the 60th minute of play forced Mevagissey's goalkeeper Nicolás Díaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odir Zapata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás Díaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mevagissey's goalkeeper Nicolás Díaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, NO MERCY's Benjamín Barraza made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolás Díaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolás Díaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odir Zapata in the 73rd minute of the match. NO MERCY walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
