Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lorenzo Pimentel got the match started through his kick off. Ladislao Castaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Umaña having to interfere. Efren Prado might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efren Prado ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Stowmarket City getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Benji Zapata hit a great ball. Efren Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Moreno having to interfere. East Grinstead United's Lorenzo Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Efren Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Miguel Pérez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Moreno was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jhonnatan Santamaria. Ladislao Castaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arturo Umaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Stowmarket City defense, Ladislao Castaneda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Umaña. The Stowmarket City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Umaña should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efren Prado made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Stowmarket City's zone, Ladislao Castaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Umaña came out of the goal and Ladislao Castaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Stowmarket City's Rafael Velis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Ladislao Castaneda came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the East Grinstead United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Castaneda couldn't finish the play. Stowmarket City's Arturo Umaña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Stowmarket City from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Velis during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Stowmarket City got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Velis. East Grinstead United's Ladislao Castaneda got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stowmarket City's Efren Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Díaz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Patricio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stowmarket City. Lorenzo Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudy Pinho hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With his leg Arturo Umaña managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when East Grinstead United's Ladislao Castaneda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patricio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Díaz in the 92nd minute of play. Arturo Umaña made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Ladislao Castaneda sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Oscar Pimentel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patricio Moreno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The East Grinstead United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
