Augusto Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Miguel Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Suarez in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Rudy Cerritos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 26 minutes into the match, Dennys Fernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Radcliffe-on-Trent City's Miguel Paredes. Miguel Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar Mena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jhonnatan Del Carmen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. When Oscar Mena came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Radcliffe-on-Trent City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Mena couldn't finish the play. Jhonnatan Del Carmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Mena in the 33rd minute of play. When Douglas Renderos came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Longwell Green United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Renderos couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Dennys Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Paredes having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Suarez was the one to do the kick off. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Longwell Green United. Carmelo Berrueta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Paredes. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Radcliffe-on-Trent City's zone, Edgar Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Paredes came out of the goal and Edgar Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Mena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jhonnatan Del Carmen having to interfere. Rudy Cerritos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
