Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Del Cid started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jhalmar Duarte. Antonio Melendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jhalmar Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Antonio Melendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Peña to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Josue Orellana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Barreto. Fabio Magaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. East Grinstead AFC's Christian Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Josue Orellana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th play minute Alfredo Del Cid came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josue Orellana. 1-0. Josue Orellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Melendez in the 35th minute of the match. Alfredo Del Cids short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Josue Orellana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Christian Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jhonnatan Flamenco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jhalmar Duarte to make the kick off. The supporters of East Grinstead AFC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josue Orellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhonnatan Flamenco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. East Grinstead AFC's Fabio Magaña got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Magaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Josue Orellana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabio Magaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Alfredo Del Cid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Orellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Magaña took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josue Orellana. Josue Orellana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. East Grinstead AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
