An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Ekain in the 4th minute of play forced Ilisca's goalkeeper Leopoldo Jerico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Matias Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilgo's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Jerico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Ekain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Jerico came out and tried to block the shot, but Ambrosio Ekain slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Ramirez got free with Leopoldo Jerico in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 played minutes Vilgo got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Bartuelo. Isaias Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Patricio Inocente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Jerico having to interfere. Isaias Vigil took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Inocente. Patricio Inocente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jacinto Estevon's late challenge caught a Vilgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Estevon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, one of Ilisca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ilisca. The goalkeeper, Leopoldo Jerico, was totally fooled by Vilgo's Feliciano Theodore, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Aaron Illart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilisca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Illart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaias Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Inocente having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ambrosio Ekain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Illart in the 46th minute of play. Isaias Vigil struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Patricio Inocente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilisca. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Illart to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Isaias Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilisca's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Inocente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vilgo booed when Ilisca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Theodore was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Aaron Illart took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Patricio Inocente to make any attempt to save it. Jonatan Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Aaron Illart fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Patricio Inocente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Vigil went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score.
