The audience was convinced that Silvano Lluciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Inocente was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 12 minutes, Silvano Lluciano made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. After a defensive mix-up in Vilgo's zone, Vicente Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Inocente came out of the goal and Vicente Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Patricio Inocente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 74th minute of the match Isidro Haitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isidro Haitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Vilgo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Isidro Haitz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Lluciano in the 83rd minute of play forced Vilgo's goalkeeper Patricio Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vilgo's Ruperto Lordi got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes, Inocencio Amor mouthed his way into the referee's book.
