Nemesio Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Silverio Beltxe struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Benito Niguel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castex. Vicente Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Niguel having to interfere. If Nicolas Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Castex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Beltxe to maneuver through the defense. Pilcaniyeu's Silverio Oliviero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Castex. 18 minutes into the match, Pilcaniyeu's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Berasko came free, but Benito Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vicente Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Castex getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jonathan Bela hit a great ball. Silverio Oliviero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Amado Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Niguel having to interfere. Silverio Oliviero's late challenge caught a Castex's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Oliviero helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Geleberto was the one to do the kick off. If Delmiro Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Geleberto charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Geleberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Castex got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Geleberto. After a rather tough play, Castex's Silverio Beltxe got a free kick in the 59th minute. Nicanor Chus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Abecia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Benito Niguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Berasko in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Castex's Nicolas Berasko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Niguel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Oto during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Castex walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
