After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Nicanor Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilcaniyeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Chus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Seme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicanor Chus struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Agustin Seme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcaniyeu. Delmiro Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Agustin Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Chus might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Seme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Chus ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Niguel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Diagur went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nicanor Chus scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustin Seme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Astor Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Arotza in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nicanor Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Joel Diagur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Niguel. Pilcaniyeu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Diagur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Nicanor Chus sped through Sotelo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Agustin Seme. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Cordaryal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Cordaryal in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Niguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustin Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Chus, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Pilcaniyeu's Nicanor Chus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Seme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Benito Niguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Seme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Santxol charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Santxol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sotelo FC booed when Pilcaniyeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Delmiro Arotza made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Seme. Sotelo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Delmiro Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Seme having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Pilcaniyeu's Nicanor Chus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agustin Seme. That made the score 2-4 after 78 minutes of play. Delmiro Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Seme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Arotza went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Silverio Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Shantala didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Vicente Goiz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Delmiro Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilcaniyeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Arotza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Seme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pilcaniyeu played a much better game than Sotelo FC and deserved their victory. The Sotelo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
