The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Perrando during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Anier Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Federal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Clemencin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federal FC's Abelardo Garaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Federal FC from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Fernado made a kick off. Ánimas's Natalio Otoniel got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Garaona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Chan's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Ánimas's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Fernado came free, but Haroldo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Clemencin came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Haroldo Llorienzo could save by the left post. Haroldo Llorienzo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 88 minutes into the match, Ánimas's Bartolo Chan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Garaona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abelardo Garaona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Chan's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. If Delmiro Perrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federal FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
