Pascual Maule helped the player get up and apologised. Pascual Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Abelardo Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Eate in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Federal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Perrando to maneuver through the defense. Tamangueyú's Matias Luzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Fernado in the 12th minute of play. Abelardo Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Eate in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Norberto Rubio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Garaona. Federal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Rubio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Tamangueyú's Ambrosio Eate in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Garaona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Eate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Rubio might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Garaona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Rubio ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Clemencin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Urritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ambrosio Eate showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2.
