Taficillo AFC's Alejo Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Ponciano in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Taficillo AFC booed when Pomona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Bonadona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taficillo AFC's Ildefonso Orain got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
