Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Osvaldo Frantzes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Washington FC's Denis Palos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Washington FC from getting a goal against them. Correntoso AFC's Jonathan Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Txema in the 10th minute of play. Eusebio Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Palos having to interfere. Osvaldo Frantzes's late challenge caught a Correntoso AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. Osvaldo Frantzes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Hugo Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Denis Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hugo Lixandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Cordarell got free with Denis Palos in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Baltasar Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Aldo Txema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Washington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Txema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 minutes, Alfonso Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Washington FC and the Correntoso AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Washington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Lucian to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Hugo Lixandro came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Correntoso AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Lixandro couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Aldo Txema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jonathan Donostia made a huge save. Osvaldo Frantzes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Donostia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Osvaldo Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Donostia having to interfere. If Eusebio Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Correntoso AFC booed when Washington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aldo Txema kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Donostia. That made the score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. Correntoso AFC's Jonathan Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Frantzes in the 80th minute of play. Eusebio Cordarell might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Palos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Cordarell ran back to his position shaking his head. Denis Palos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Cordarell in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Correntoso AFC's Hugo Lixandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Palos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Donostia was a little too slow when Osvaldo Frantzes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 95th minute, Eusebio Cordarell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Correntoso AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Correntoso AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
