The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Gilen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Shepherd was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Manucho AFC's Paulino Eliu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Paulino Eliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Shepherd having to interfere. Rosendo Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, Romeo Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Manucho AFC's Genaro Ireno got control of the ball when Alvaro Libertad tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Fernando Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Paulino Eliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fernando Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Yatai players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manucho AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Chan was the one to do the kick off. Paulino Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudio Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Ireno having to interfere. Emanuel Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Alvaro Libertad charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Libertad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Yatai got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Libertad. Rosendo Shepherd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Eliu in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Remigio Aznar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulino Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 98 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yatai! When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, Manucho AFC's Romeo Matthew got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rosendo Shepherd. The Manucho AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Manucho AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
