Denis Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Pirro in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Cassaffousth FC's Everardo Tolino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Domingo Onofre hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Denis Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Bikendi in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Cassaffousth FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Domingo Onofre hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Palermo's Desiderio Bikendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Benvide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cassaffousth FC's Denis Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Harkaitz in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Palermo booed when Cassaffousth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
If Everardo Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Gabirel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Baumer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 minutes of play, Cassaffousth FC's Marcelo Gabirel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Baumer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jairo Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Florin in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Marcelo Gabirel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Baumer. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Baumer should have stopped the shot. Denis Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Pirro in the 80th minute of play. Marcelo Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palermo's Jairo Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Tolino in the 85th minute of play. Desiderio Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Denis Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Pirro scored 3-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Benvide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cassaffousth FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palermo for a fine match.
