Ariel Cucao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Teo Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Idiazábal's Erubiel Txatxu got a free kick in the 20th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Sindo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Idiazábal's Mateo Nuno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Papo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Huerta booed when Idiazábal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Idiazábal got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Txatxu. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Teo Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huerta's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Filomeno Sindo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Florencio Pinto. The crowd rose to their feet as Reynaldo Ramirez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florencio Pinto. That made the score 1-3 in the 83 minute of play. Erubiel Txatxu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Txatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Idiazábal got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Txatxu. The Huerta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
