Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matias Quilo started the match with the kick off. Filomeno Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Huerta getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Reynaldo Ramirez hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Pituil's Luciano Serapio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Papo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Luciano Serapio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Huerta's Elvio Papo. Elvio Papo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cleto Xabel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Sindo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Sindo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Xabel saved Pituil from getting behind. The supporters of Huerta booed when Pituil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Sindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cleto Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Ramirez's late challenge caught a Pituil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Ramirez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Huerta's Reynaldo Ramirez got a free kick in the 29th minute. Cleto Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Sindo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Cornelio Arano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Teo Bordat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Luciano Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Sindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleto Xabel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Sindo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Huerta got a freekick which was hit by Federico Cerilo. In the 60thth minute of the game Matias Quilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huerta's Elvio Papo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luciano Serapio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Elvio Papo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Pituil's zone, Teo Bordat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Xabel came out of the goal and Teo Bordat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pituil's goalkeeper Cleto Xabel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Raul Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituil's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Papo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Xabel having to interfere. Cleto Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Sindo in the 92nd minute of play. Matias Quilo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elvio Papo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Quilo ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pituil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Huerta.
