Apolo Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Egoitz in the 3rd minute of play. Margarita AFC's Elias Polo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Margarita AFC from getting a goal against them. When Teobaldo Gomez fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Igon couldn't finish the play.
The wind increased when Rodrigo Egoitz made the kick off in the second half. If Jorge Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Egoitz in the 58th minute of play forced Ovara's goalkeeper Apolo Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emiliano Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Guillelmus in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Polo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute Rodrigo Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Margarita AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Adrian Oalo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita AFC's zone, Jorge Igon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Polo came out of the goal and Jorge Igon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Teofilio having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Apolo Teofilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Apolo Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Egoitz in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jorge Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovara's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Igon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Guillelmus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Polo having to interfere. Ovara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
