With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Abajas in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Rosalio saved Ripamonti from getting behind. If Tomas Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Soin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Arnalt was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Cieneguilla AFC's Constantino Arnalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Soin in the 95th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Benedicto Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Cieneguilla AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ripamonti throughout the match.
