Cachiyuyu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ripamonti the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Cachiyuyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Orlondon to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rodrigo Maura sped through Ripamonti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abelardo Rosalio. 31 minutes into the game, Cachiyuyu's Rodrigo Maura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Rosalio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Lucas Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Orlondon was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Ripamonti booed when Cachiyuyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Erroman having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Bieito was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Rosalio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyu's Adriana Jaizki got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The long shot by Isidro Rozarius in the 63rd minute really tested Lucas Erroman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Juan Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute Juan Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Juan Bieito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Erroman. The goal made the score 2-1. Juan Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lucas Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Bartolo Soin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Erroman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Bieito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 96 minute of play.
