Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cosme Brun took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Tiburcio James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, Protestante AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Roque Balendin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Protestante AFC's Luciano Firmo didn't even have to move. Fausto Ferrer was shown his second yellow card after 9 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Dolores FC booed when Protestante AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luciano Firmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sixto Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 24 played minutes Dolores FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Jerrald. Silvio Eztebe, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pablo Jerrald charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Jerrald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Protestante AFC booed when Dolores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvio Eztebe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dolores FC's Roque Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Raulo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dolores FC booed when Protestante AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Dolores FC's Cosme Brun got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Protestante AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Firmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sixto Maule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eustacio Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Maule, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Maule stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosme Brun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Protestante AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ambrosio Mero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Balendin in the 64th minute of play forced Protestante AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Firmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Balendin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luciano Firmo. Protestante AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Dolores FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Pablo Jerrald hit a great ball. Dolores FC's Pablo Jerrald got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Protestante AFC's zone, Flavio Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Firmo came out of the goal and Flavio Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Dolores FC's Eustacio Francesco got control of the ball when Sixto Maule tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cosme Brun came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dolores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Brun couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Dolores FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
