In the 4th minute, Fernan Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Gartzea was a little too slow when Cristo Erauso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Genaro Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Adolfo Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cevallos's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Cordaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Gartzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Adolfo Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute of the match, Cristo Erauso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Genaro Gartzea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adolfo Cordaro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Genaro Gartzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cevallos. Cristo Erauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th match minute, Jaqüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Salomon to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Eustacio Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Iker Beat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cevallos and the Jaqüé players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Elazar having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Cevallos's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Naelio came free, but Amador Elazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Naelio in the 57th minute of the match. If Adolfo Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jaqüé getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Victor Urdin hit a great ball. Genaro Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Cordaro in the 61st minute of play. Cevallos's Amador Elazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Cevallos from getting a goal against them. Eustacio Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Amador Elazar made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Bernabe Ralondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaqüé fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Gai during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Jaqüé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cevallos:s goal. The referee gave Cevallos a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernan Perico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jaqüé's Genaro Gartzea. 3-1. 90 minutes into the match, Jaqüé's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Erauso came free, but Genaro Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
