Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Salguero FC's Cornelio Madeo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aristides Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Florinio in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Eustacio Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonides Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Camilo Eufrasio, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Jaqüé defense, Cornelio Madeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Gartzea. The Jaqüé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Gartzea should have stopped the shot. Eustacio Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Aristides Quinton made a huge save. If Enrique Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Naelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Quinton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Naelio ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Salguero FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Enrique Miliano hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Cornelio Madeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genaro Gartzea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 41st match minute, Jaqüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Salomon to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amadeo Naelio made the kick off in the second half. Enrique Miliano came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Genaro Gartzea could save by the left post. A hard shot by Camilo Eufrasio from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Genaro Gartzea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 65th minute Eustacio Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Salguero FC booed when Jaqüé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaqüé's Genaro Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Dei in the 74th minute of play. Eustacio Florinio took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Quinton. Aristides Quinton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Florinio in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Quinton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Jaqüé's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Miliano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Enrique Miliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Madeo in the 88th minute of play forced Jaqüé's goalkeeper Genaro Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Naelio in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Salguero FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Argi. Enrique Miliano might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Gartzea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Miliano ran back to his position shaking his head. Salguero FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
