Inocencio Guerau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fitarruín. Fitarruín's Leonides Rojelio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Crescencio in the 25th minute of play forced Fitarruín's goalkeeper Eloy Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Fitarruín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Ciceron to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fitarruín's zone, Silvestre Crescencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Lorien came out of the goal and Silvestre Crescencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Fernan Grabiel from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Eloy Lorien's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edgardo Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eloy Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Crescencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Mauricio Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fitarruín's Eloy Lorien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Fitarruín from getting a goal against them. Inocencio Guerau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Crescencio to make the kick off. Inocencio Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
