When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sebastian Llope sped through Culampajá FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melchor Ferrer. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Elias Osmundo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Henderson:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Culampajá FC:s goal. In the 18th match minute, Culampajá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Abilio to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Lorencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Ferrer having to interfere. Cleto Kelemen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Claudio Lordi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the game, Erubiel Omero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Culampajá FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Henderson the free kick. Cleto Kelemen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Claudio Lordi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Melchor Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Llope in the 41st minute of play. When Henderson's Sebastian Llope in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Culampajá FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastian Llope scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Ferrer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Henderson were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Erubiel Omero made the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Claudio Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Henderson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Paskal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Omero in the 55th minute of play forced Henderson's goalkeeper Claudio Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Kelemen in the 63rd minute of play. Melchor Ferrer came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Henderson's Sebastian Llope. But to his dismay, Sebastian Llope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Henderson's Sebastian Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Ferrer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Llope in the 78th minute. After 78 played minutes Culampajá FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Rameriz. Sebastian Llope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Melchor Ferrer made a huge save. After some careless play in the Culampajá FC defense, Sebastian Llope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Ferrer. The Culampajá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Ferrer should have stopped the shot. Adan Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Erubiel Omero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Lordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Henderson eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
