In the 28th minute, Ismael Firme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Henderson's Ismael Firme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Orti. That made the score 2-2 after 33 minutes of play. Claudio Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Adan Hermon in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adan Hermon made a kick off. When Moises Baumer came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Gil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Baumer couldn't finish the play. Henderson's Ismael Firme got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Jokin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Lordi. Henderson's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Martin Orti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Firme in the 84th minute of play. Ildefonso Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Martin Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Gil's Claudio Lordi threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adan Hermon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gil's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
