The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Culampajá FC's zone, Moises Baumer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Ferrer came out of the goal and Moises Baumer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Omero might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Orti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Omero ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Horacio Mikelats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Culampajá FC's Isidro Chan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gil's zone, Erubiel Omero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Orti came out of the goal and Erubiel Omero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Orti having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Adan Hermon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melchor Ferrer, 3-0. If Primitivo Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Omero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Orti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. If Moises Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Isidro Chan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Culampajá FC's Primitivo Abilio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Moises Baumer struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Melchor Ferrer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gil. After 80 minutes, Primitivo Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Culampajá FC and the Gil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Culampajá FC's Primitivo Abilio got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Culampajá FC's goalkeeper Melchor Ferrer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Adan Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Culampajá FC's Erubiel Omero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Orti. Martin Orti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. If Moises Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Culampajá FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
