The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Curupayti FC's Gonzalo Moise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Telesforo in the 5th minute of play. Dorila AFC's Roman Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Dorila AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Telesforo in the 17th minute of play forced Curupayti FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Moise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Moise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Mattin in the 22nd minute of play. Curupayti FC's Primitivo Colas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dorila AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Curupayti FC's zone, Evaristo Mattin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Moise came out of the goal and Evaristo Mattin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmo Bonifaco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Roman Lastur made a huge save. Godfredo Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The long shot by Primitivo Colas in the 32nd minute really tested Roman Lastur's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Mattin in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Moise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Felix Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorila AFC's Roman Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Sayveon in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Telesforo in the 47th minute of play forced Curupayti FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Moise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Telesforo to strike the kick off in the second half. Dorila AFC's Enrique Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Moise didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. A collision led to Curupayti FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Primitivo Colas hit a great ball. Orlando Sayveon scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th match minute, Curupayti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Berto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Telesforo in the 66th minute of play forced Curupayti FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Moise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Mattin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Moise made a huge save. After having played for 71 minutes, Orlando Sayveon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curupayti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Sayveon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Orlando Sayveon came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Curupayti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Sayveon couldn't finish the play. After 82 minutes, Edgard Serapio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorila AFC and the Curupayti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Curupayti FC booed when Dorila AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Berto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 83 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Roman Lastur right hand side. Enrique Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gonzalo Moise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Mattin might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Moise. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Mattin ran back to his position shaking his head.
