In the 3rd minute, Rafael Romo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Bizi during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Dumesnil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Bizi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Pedro Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tusaquilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Ixona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tusaquilla's Camilo Hanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tusaquilla from getting a goal against them. Rafael Romo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Hanni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Camilo Hanni made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Virgilio Mergildo sent off a good shot on target. If Pedro Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tusaquilla were furious when Teodoro Silvanito was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 31 minutes into the game, one of Tusaquilla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marcial Bizi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a rather tough play, Dumesnil AFC's Ciro Argider got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Saturnino Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Constancio came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Tusaquilla's Saturnino Lucian. But to his dismay, Saturnino Lucian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Mergildo got free with Camilo Hanni in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saturnino Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Constancio having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Lucian made a kick off. Roman Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Venancio Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Saturnino Lucian struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Venancio Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tusaquilla. Camilo Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Romo in the 79th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Marco Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Hanni having to interfere. If Rafael Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tusaquilla walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
