Iturraspe FC's Dalmacio Mikolas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Silverio Lore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malagueño fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Silverio Lore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dalmacio Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Beturian struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Octavio Rafe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iturraspe FC. When Iturraspe FC's Vladimiro Otsoa in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malagueño's goalie prevented a goal. Rolando Beturian struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Octavio Rafe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimiro Otsoa in the 34th minute. Rodolfo Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Iturraspe FC's Dalmacio Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Urko in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Urko in the 47th minute of play forced Iturraspe FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Mikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Iturraspe FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malagueño were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Urko was the one to do the kick off. Silverio Lore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malagueño's Omar Gora suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ricardo Haitz fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iturraspe FC's protests and gave Ricardo Haitz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Iturraspe FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ricardo Haitz hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Rolando Beturian made a precise shot to the right of Octavio Rafe. Malagueño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Octavio Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Otsoa in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Modesto Elixio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Malagueño's Luciano Thomas tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Silverio Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Lore struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dalmacio Mikolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malagueño. 91 minutes into the game, one of Malagueño:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
