An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Faro in the 3rd minute of play forced Murphy FC's goalkeeper Samuel Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Santikurtz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Faro's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Santos Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fermin Erruki struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Niceto Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murphy FC. The Murphy FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Murphy FC's Santos Cilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Carabajal AFC booed when Murphy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Ferman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gogo Eladio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Murphy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Eladio couldn't finish the play. Fermin Erruki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Niceto Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Faro made a kick off. Carabajal AFC's Niceto Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Cilio in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Murphy FC booed when Carabajal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Fermin Erruki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Simon Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Santikurtz having to interfere. When Fermin Erruki came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Murphy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Erruki couldn't finish the play. In the 91stth minute of the game Ricardo Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murphy FC's Samuel Santikurtz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carabajal AFC's Simon Ferman got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Murphy FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
