Francisco Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Emmanuel having to interfere. Fabian Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Upinango getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Aurelio Tolino hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Tobias Abad made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Mazuste. Chas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Upinango defense, Francisco Abalos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasio Emmanuel. The Upinango fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasio Emmanuel should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Roldan to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Abad in the 53rd minute of play. Fernando Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Upinango's Anastasio Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Abalos in the 62nd minute of play. Braulio Irrintzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Anastasio Emmanuel made a huge save. Francisco Abalos struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Anastasio Emmanuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chas FC. 70 minutes into the game, Isidro Chayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Upinango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chas FC the free kick. Isidro Chayo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match.
