Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Weterio started the match with the kick off. Honorio Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Isidro Orland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Fonso in the 12th minute of play forced Paranay's goalkeeper Benicio Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Fonso in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Honorio Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Frances's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Orland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Frances in the 27th minute of play forced Ranquile AFC's goalkeeper Isidro Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Raymundo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Felipe Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Orlo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edelmiro Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Omar Aires was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Fonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorio Frances who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Isidro Orland when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Honorio Frances in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidro Orland, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sebastian Weterio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Orland having to make a save. In the 66th minute, Paranay's Honorio Frances dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Benicio Aimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Beremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paranay's Benicio Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Beremundo in the 83rd minute of play. When Paranay's Sebastian Weterio in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ranquile AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Honorio Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Isidro Orland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ranquile AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Paranay's performance. The match ended with a win for Paranay.
