Loreto's Hermengildo Rami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Tab in the 7th minute of play. Froilan Cugat struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Hermengildo Rami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palma AFC. Aquiles Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Gorbea in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes, Loreto's Cleto Eztebe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquiles Nesto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loreto reached it. Hermengildo Rami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Eulalio Txatxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palma AFC and the Loreto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palma AFC's Eulalio Txatxu got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Palma AFC's Edelmiro Enaut got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Primitivo Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Enzo Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palma AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Tab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Rami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Palma AFC's Enzo Tab ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermengildo Rami. Hermengildo Rami yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hermengildo Rami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Tab, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Primitivo Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aquiles Nesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Enzo Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Che hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, Loreto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Toli to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Primitivo Gorbea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palma AFC's Aquiles Nesto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquiles Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Bitxintxo in the 62nd minute. If Jonatan Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Giro's late challenge caught a Loreto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Giro helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palma AFC! Palma AFC:s Aquiles Nesto showed great skill when he stopped Cleto Eztebe:s penalty. Primitivo Gorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Froilan Cugat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hermengildo Rami was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Tab in the 88th minute of play forced Loreto's goalkeeper Hermengildo Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palma AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Loreto for a fine match.
