The audience was convinced that Guillermo Oliverio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Tab was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Jonas Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Maximo Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jairo Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Ekain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Oliverio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teo Obeko in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Guillermo Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muñoz FC's Jonas Tab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Muñoz FC from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Tab having to interfere. Jonas Tab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Federigo in the 69th minute. Ariel's Maximo Ekain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Salvadore in the 73rd minute of play. Tiburcio Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jonas Tab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Ekain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Salvadore in the 81st minute of play. Jonas Tab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Oliverio in the 84th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Orlondo during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Muñoz FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Amadeo Orlondo hit a great ball. Jonas Tab made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Cristo Silviano sent off a good shot on target.
