Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amaná's Ernesto Cuartio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Teofilo Nuno fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lértora AFC's protests and gave Teofilo Nuno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amaná booed when Lértora AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Lértora AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ernesto Cuartio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lértora AFC's Ruben Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Cuartio in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Silvano Pagomari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ruben Naelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes Lértora AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Ceandro. Ernesto Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Herminio Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Cuartio in the 27th minute of play forced Lértora AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Marquez in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Nicolas Tibalt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lértora AFC and the Amaná players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolas Tibalt kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Amaná's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Quico came free, but Jose Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Paz struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jose Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lértora AFC. In the 45th minute Herminio Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Quico was the one to do the kick off. Ernesto Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Naelio having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Amaná was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Amaná's zone, Amado Quico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Estevon came out of the goal and Amado Quico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Narciso Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Amado Quico took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jose Estevon to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Cuartio in the 73rd minute of play forced Lértora AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Silvano Pagomari struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ruben Naelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaná. Ernesto Cuartio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Cuartio in the 82nd minute of the match. Silvano Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ruben Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Naelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Pagomari went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The Lértora AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Amaná from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
