Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ezequiel Fidensio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valdés's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorato Frances was slow to take the kick. During this time Otamendi's players had a chance to rest. Severo Goiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Otamendi's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Fidensio came free, but Severo Goiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Cordarrol in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Rubio saved Valdés from getting behind. If Prospero Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Prospero Cordarrol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Otamendi's goalkeeper Severo Goiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Tonete. In the 21st minute, Leandro Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Otamendi fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Otamendi's Edgardo Uhin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgardo Uhin struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eliseo Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otamendi. Prospero Cordarrol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eliseo Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Firmin's late challenge caught a Otamendi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Firmin helped the player get up and apologised. Nunez Steven charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Steven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Nunez Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Otamendi got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Velasco. Desiderio Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Tonete got free with Severo Goiz in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Valdés booed when Otamendi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 50th minute Valdés were awarded a corner. Severino Kepa went to the cornerflag to take it. Severino Kepa made a great header on Valdés's corner, it was just that Otamendi's Severo Goiz managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Otamendi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Uhin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severo Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Egoitz in the 54th minute of play. Vinicio Fortun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severo Goiz. Otamendi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Otamendi's Severo Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Tonete in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Otamendi getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Carlos Ekhi hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Valdés's Severino Kepa tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Benigno Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Goiz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Fidensio in the 73rd minute of play forced Otamendi's goalkeeper Severo Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 80th minute, but Eliseo Rubio got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Valdés hanging dry this time. Eliseo Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Uhin in the 94th minute of the match. Edgardo Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eliseo Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Edgardo Uhin rounded Valdés's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. The Valdés supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Otamendi's performance. The match ended with a win for Otamendi.
