Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ermegildo Raulo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Tadeo Iraitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rancul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Popoy the free kick. Popoy's Ermegildo Raulo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tadeo Iraitz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 6 minutes had been played. In the 7th minute, Tadeo Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Jeremias Resto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Firmin might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Ibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Firmin ran back to his position shaking his head. Celedonio Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Ibar having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Rancul's Celedonio Firmin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Ibar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Paul struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Silvestre Ibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancul. Ermegildo Raulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Ignatius during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Popoy got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Ignatius. Gustavo Ignatius hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jeremias Resto struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Feliciano Casado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Popoy. Ermegildo Raulo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Casado having to make a save. Rancul's Feliciano Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Resto in the 43rd minute of play. Feliciano Casado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Resto in the 45th minute of play. Celedonio Firmin struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Silvestre Ibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancul. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Jeremias Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Ermegildo Raulo rounded Rancul's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Celedonio Firmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Celedonio Firmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jeremias Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Popoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Resto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Casado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Celedonio Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Ibar having to interfere. In the 75th minute Ermegildo Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Semeno hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Popoy's Gustavo Ignatius got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Ermegildo Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Celedonio Firmin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Rancul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Firmin couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Rancul's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Raulo came free, but Feliciano Casado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Popoy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Popoy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
