Frías were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Morón FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Basilio Vidal took the corner. Basilio Vidal made a great header on Frías's corner, it was just that Morón FC's Jonas Oriol managed to reach the ball for a save. Jairo Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emilio Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Aureliano Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Silvanito's late challenge caught a Morón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Silvanito helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Frías's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Elixio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Oriol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Sandalio took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Oriol. Jonas Oriol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 88 minutes into the match, Morón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Sandalio came free, but Jonas Oriol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Frías's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Laurin came free, but Emilio Cresitobalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Morón FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Morón FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
