The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Curtiembre's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Salada FC's Teodoro Locaio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Felipe Herensuge was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, one of Salada FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raimundo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Lander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benigno Sayvion. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Raimundo Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Eneto having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Lander to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Elija sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Alfredo Eneto threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Rodolfo Elija this time. In the 56thth minute of the game Alberto Lander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salada FC's Benigno Sayvion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Salada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lander came free, but Benigno Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Teodoro Raphael put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benigno Sayvion. Raimundo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Salada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lander came free, but Benigno Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Sayvion having to interfere. Teodoro Raphael took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Sayvion. Benigno Sayvion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Raimundo Lixandro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfredo Eneto firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Raimundo Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Gaskon hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Raimundo Lixandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Lander took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Sayvion. Benigno Sayvion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Curtiembre had won after a very even match.
