But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Lixandro couldn't finish the play. Teodelina FC's Herminio Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Chale in the 7th minute of play. Salada FC's Benigno Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Bastiaro in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Salada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Geleberto came free, but Benigno Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Geleberto in the 21st minute of the match. Santo Jax, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Geleberto in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Sayvion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Andres Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teodelina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Bastiaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a left leg Benigno Sayvion saved Salada FC from getting behind. 0-2 became the score in the 65th minute when Roberto Geleberto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Cipriano Jakes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salada FC's goalkeeper Benigno Sayvion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Teodelina FC's zone, Raimundo Lixandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Quinton came out of the goal and Raimundo Lixandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Teodelina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Cedro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Teodelina FC booed when Salada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Geleberto scored 0-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Sayvion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Raimundo Lixandro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Quinton. Teodelina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Lixandro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Andres Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Sayvion having to interfere. Pedro Oskitz scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Quinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodelina FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
