The supporters of Chumillo booed when Mercedes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Vellito came free, but Niceto Tiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mercedes FC's Niceto Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Liberto in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Liberto came free, but Niceto Tiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Efraim hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jordy in the 10th minute of play forced Chumillo's goalkeeper Roman Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chumillo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Timoteo Brais hit a great ball. Filomeno Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Chumillo's Roque Vellito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Jusepe during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lázaro Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Hilario Liberto came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Chumillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Liberto couldn't finish the play. Niceto Tiso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Liberto's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Roman Chano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Jordy's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hilario Liberto got free with Niceto Tiso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Tiso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Liberto in the 35th minute of play. Niceto Tiso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Rojelio's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Hilario Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Tiso made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Arnoldo Rojelio sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Abelardo Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Liberto in the 45th minute of play forced Mercedes FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Liberto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Niceto Tiso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Chumillo's Hilario Liberto in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mercedes FC's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Jordy to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Chano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Jordy in the 52nd minute of play. Filomeno Benat's late challenge caught a Chumillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Benat helped the player get up and apologised. Filomeno Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Hilario Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chumillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Liberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Abelardo Estefan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roque Vellito struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Niceto Tiso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chumillo. Mercedes FC's Niceto Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Liberto in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Arnoldo Rojelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chumillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Mercedes FC booed when Chumillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Abelardo Estefan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Estefan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Chano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Chumillo defense, Leopoldo Jordy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Chano. The Chumillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Chano should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Simon Eztebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mercedes FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
