Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Leopoldo Jordy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Estefan got free with Benedicto Cordario in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abelardo Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Cordario having to interfere. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tala's goalkeeper Benedicto Cordario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Leheren during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mercedes FC's Abelardo Estefan got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Leopoldo Jordy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Nalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niceto Tiso. Mercedes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abelardo Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Cordario having to interfere. The supporters of Mercedes FC booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mercedes FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tiso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's Leopoldo Jordy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedicto Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hilario Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Tiso having to interfere. Hilario Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abelardo Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Jordy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Maju in the 46th minute of play forced Mercedes FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiberto Leoncio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Abelardo Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Ermegildo Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tala's Hilario Maju got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hilario Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Tiso came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Tala's Hilario Maju. But to his dismay, Hilario Maju quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 70th minute, Fabian Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well-hit corner resulted in Danilo Gartzea heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Filiberto Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Mercedes FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ermegildo Otsando hit a great ball. Abelardo Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Benedicto Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
