Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Godofredo Gorbea got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Anastasio Luzaide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Luzaide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Iban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anastasio Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ovidio Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Esperanza's Lucas Sein broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erasmo Inguma hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Justino Azibar hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ildefonso Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Bide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Iban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Anastasio Luzaide came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Esperanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Luzaide couldn't finish the play. With his leg Ovidio Iban managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Esperanza's Anastasio Luzaide fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Rius during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Acoite got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Rius. Anastasio Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Acoite's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ildefonso Bide fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cristo Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Evis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Santiago in the 41st minute of the match. Godofredo Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonas Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Bide made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, one of Acoite:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lucas Sein shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ovidio Iban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Anastasio Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Iban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Bide in the 61st minute of play. If Anastasio Luzaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Acoite booed when Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Acoite's Cristo Santiago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Evis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anastasio Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Iban having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Bide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Iban. Acoite's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Bide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Ladislao Venceslas fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esperanza's protests and gave Ladislao Venceslas a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Evis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roberto Mede. After a rather tough play, Esperanza's Martin Benvide got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esperanza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Acoite had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
