Paulino Ciceron charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 45th match minute, Chaguaral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Bakar to maneuver through the defense. Chaguaral's Ernesto Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Bide in the 48th minute of play.

In the 54th minute, Cosme Santikurtz made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Evis. Esperanza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jonas Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Santikurtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Bakar in the 60th minute of play forced Esperanza's goalkeeper Jonas Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Esperanza booed when Chaguaral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Santikurtz in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Esperanza's Martin Benvide got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Esperanza players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
