Cardoso's Alfredo Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Mogel in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Mogel in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Evangelista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Placido Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Mogel struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Alfredo Evangelista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucumanao AFC. Placido Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfredo Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Leoncio's late challenge caught a Tucumanao AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Leoncio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cardoso getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cosme Leoncio hit a great ball. If Aureliano Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Tucumanao AFC's Aureliano Bitxintxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Evangelista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Samuel Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tucumanao AFC's Esteve Raphael got a free kick in the 37th minute. Victorio Oliviero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Pere in the 47th minute. After the first half Tucumanao AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Txema stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Evangelista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Bitxintxo in the 58th minute. Aureliano Bitxintxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Evangelista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. When Denis Obeko fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tucumanao AFC's protests and gave Denis Obeko a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tucumanao AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Denis Obeko hit a great ball. A hard shot 73 in the game by Aureliano Bitxintxo from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Evangelista managed to make a qualified save. Cardoso's players were relieved. Victorio Oliviero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aurelio Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aureliano Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tucumanao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. Victorio Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Pere in the 87th minute of the match. Aureliano Bitxintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Evangelista having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tucumanao AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
