Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Catuna FC's Lucas Ibon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Laplacette FC's Tomas Erruki made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Christobal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, Laplacette FC's Danilo Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Christobal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnoldo Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Kepa having to interfere. Samuel Pirmins short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Eulalio Kepa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bruno Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Tajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eulalio Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catuna FC's Samuel Pirmin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Laplacette FC's Godofredo Beat seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Godofredo Beat the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Laplacette FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Godofredo Beat had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laplacette FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Laplacette FC:s Eulalio Kepa showed great skill when he stopped Nicanor Vela:s penalty. After recieving a nice pass, Laplacette FC's Tomas Erruki tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Lucas Ibon came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Catuna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Ibon couldn't finish the play. After the first half Laplacette FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Erruki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Catuna FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Flor. In the 54th minute of the match German Ubendu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Christobal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucas Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eulalio Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Erruki struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Arnoldo Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laplacette FC. Danilo Estevon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Christobal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Catuna FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Christobal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Erruki. After a defensive mix-up in Laplacette FC's zone, Lucas Ibon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Kepa came out of the goal and Lucas Ibon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Samuel Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Pirmin in the 83rd minute of play forced Laplacette FC's goalkeeper Eulalio Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Eulalio Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catuna FC. 91 minutes into the game, Catuna FC's Samuel Pirmin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Kepa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Catuna FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
