Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulises Gonzo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Humberto Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cieneguita FC's Generoso Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leheren in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Leheren in the 15th minute of play forced Cieneguita FC's goalkeeper Generoso Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Montae came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Gorina's Humberto Leheren. But to his dismay, Humberto Leheren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cieneguita FC's Generoso Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leheren in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Gorina's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Barea came free, but Jonathan Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gorina's Jonathan Theodore got control of the ball when Leonardo Beliran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Theodore made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Leonardo Beliran sent off a good shot on target. Generoso Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Gonzo came free, but Generoso Montae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Elias Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, Gorina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Montes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Ovidio Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cieneguita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Barea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Barea, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Humberto Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Montae having to interfere. If Leonardo Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Gorina got a freekick which was hit by Donato Galsino. In the 95th minute, Astor Modestio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gorina's Jonathan Theodore didn't even have to move. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gorina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
