Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Anchorena's Serafino Oxel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Justo Formerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Theodore was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Ulises Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Ulises Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes Anchorena's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cecilio Ralondo who took care of the corner kick. Cecilio Ralondo made a great header on Gorina's corner, it was just that Anchorena's Eleuterio Bortzaioriz managed to reach the ball for a save. If Ulises Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Urtungo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gorina booed when Anchorena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Urtungo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Oxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gorina's Donato Galsino got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jonathan Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jonathan Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Formerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anchorena's Serafino Oxel got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Formerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justo Formerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Anchorena getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Albino Lucado hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Humberto Leheren came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Gorina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Leheren couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Humberto Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Humberto Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafino Oxel in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Theodore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Humberto Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Anchorena! Ulises Gonzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleuterio Bortzaioriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Gonzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Gorina's Ulises Gonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ulises Gonzo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gorina's protests and gave Ulises Gonzo a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Gorina got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Gonzo. Donato Galsino charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Galsino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Serafino Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gorina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anchorena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
